Bigfoot's Favorite Stories

At night, when it is time for all good bears to go to sleep, sometimes a little bedtime story is in order to help get to sleep. Here are some of Bigfoot's favorite books.

This is one of Bigfoot and Baby Bigfoot's favorite books. Can't You Sleep, Little Bear? is a great story about Big Bear and Little Bear, who has trouble getting to sleep because of the dark all around him. Big Bear brings him bigger and bigger laterns until he realizes that the only light big enough to get rid of all the dark is the moon. A wonderful story that is a frequent read for Bigfoot.

Big Bear and Little Bear return in another adventure in You and Me Little Bear. As you can see, these two are a big favorite in our home! This book follows Big Bear and Little Bear as they spend a day together. Little Bear just wants to play while Big Bear has to collect firewood and take care of other responsibilities, but at the end of the day, they get to spend some quality time together, just the two of them.

This is another frequently requested book. Sleep Well, Little Bear follows a teddy bear's adventures from morning until bedtime including a visit to Mrs. Rose and her garden to the boat where the Little Bear played pirate. A very touching story that is a favorite of Bigfoot's.

The Kissing Hand is a great book about a little raccoon getting ready to go to school for the first time. His mom gives him great advice and introduces him to a family tradition called "The Kissing Hand". The raccoon family and the bears love this book and will frequently ask for a kiss on their paws.
